Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation shall engage in operations relating to (1) accounting, (2) book keeping, (3) taxes and (4) administration of the Board of Directors and Unitholders' Meetings (with the exception of operations relating to sending out Unitholders' Meeting documents and receiving and counting voting forms) of Hankyu REIT pursuant to the administrative agency agreement.
Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation shall engage in operations relating to the custody of assets owned by the corporation pursuant to the asset custody agreement.
Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation shall engage in operations relating to (1) the preparation and keeping of unitholders' registers and other business with respect to the unitholders' registers, (2) issuance of investment securities, (3) payments of cash distributed to unitholders and (4) receipt of requests regarding exercise of rights from unitholders to Hankyu REIT, Inc. and any other requests from unitholders pursuant to the agreement on administration of unitholders' register and the special account management agreement.

(Note) As a result of a (physical) absorption-type corporate split on April 1, 2005, the former Hankyu Corporation handed over all of its business except for brand ownership of the Hankyu trademark, in both Japanese and English, and selected business, to its wholly owned subsidiary called Hankyu Corporation Spin-Off Preparation Inc. and became a pure holding company. The name of the company was changed to Hankyu Holdings, Inc. on the same day, before being changed again on October 1, 2006 to Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, Inc. Hankyu Corporation Spin-Off Preparation Inc. also changed its name to the Hankyu Corporation on April 1, 2005.
Unless specifically indicated otherwise, the reference to Hankyu Corporation in this website indicates the current Hankyu Corporation in descriptions regarding April 1, 2005 onwards and former Hankyu Corporation prior to the aforementioned absorption-type corporate split.
Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, Inc. is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange as a pure holding company of, among others, the Hankyu Corporation, Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd., Hankyu Travel International Co., Ltd., Hankyu Hanshin Express Co., Ltd. and Hankyu Hanshin Hotels Co. Ltd.
